Income is commonly derived from long-term leases to high credit tenants while capital gains attained from appreciation of the properties are less significant. Investment opportunities may arise from corporate, industrial, retail and residential segments, as well as shopping centers.

Moderate and higher risk for capital gains.
Generally properties in development phase that require physical or administrative improvements, as well as higher capital expeditures. Investment returns are commonly derived from the appreciation of the real estate assets. Investment opportunities may arise from warehouses for industrial and commercial use, as well as from the hotel and land subdivision segments.
Exposure to non-traditional risk and return factors
Direct and indirect investments in infrastructure, distressed debt and equity, commodities, real assets and structured products. Risk-adjusted return enhancement and portfolio diversification through investments in assets with low correlation with traditional assets, such as public equities
